Owner: The term "Owner" refers to the individual or legal entity that holds the primary rights, control, and responsibilities over Stain Stoppers LLC, the business providing carpet and upholstery cleaning or protection services as outlined in the contract.

Service Area: The designated area within the Client's premises where Stain Stoppers LLC will provide cleaning services.

Furniture, Valuables, and Breakables: Personal belongings of the Client, including but not limited to furniture, valuables, and breakables, which the Client is responsible for safeguarding during and after the cleaning service.

Cleaning Procedures: The methods and processes employed by Stain Stoppers LLC technicians to clean carpets and upholstery.

Incomplete Cleaning Tasks: Situations where the cleaning tasks are not fully accomplished due to factors such as insufficient water or power.

Protective Agents: Substances applied by Stain Stoppers LLC according to the manufacturer's instructions to assist in repelling moisture and aiding in stain prevention.

Late Cancellation Fee: A fee of $50 that may be charged to the Client if a scheduled appointment is canceled less than 48 hours before the appointment time.

Premises: The location where the cleaning services are to be performed, owned, or controlled by the Client.

Cancellation of Appointment: The act of terminating a scheduled cleaning service, either by the Client or Stain Stoppers LLC.

Complaints: Concerns or issues raised by the Client regarding the cleaning service, which must be reported to Stain Stoppers LLC within 48 hours of service completion.

Payment: The amount due for the cleaning services, payable promptly upon completion, and acceptable through various methods including check, cash, PayPal, or Venmo.

Property or Possessions: Items owned by the Client, including but not limited to personal belongings, furniture, and valuables.

When you hire Stain Stoppers LLC you agree to the the following:

• The Client acknowledges that Stain Stoppers LLC strives to enhance the existing state of a carpet prior to cleaning. However, it is important to note that Stain Stoppers LLC cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains or odors, nor can it assure the restoration of a carpet to its original condition. The technicians of Stain Stoppers LLC retain the right to decline treatment or cleaning of a carpet if they determine that such actions could potentially harm the carpet or pose safety risks.

• Stain Stoppers LLC places a high value on the care and protection of the Client's belongings. It is imperative for the Client to take note of the Client's responsibility in safeguarding furniture, valuables, and breakables within the designated service area both before, during, and after any service provided by Stain Stoppers LLC. The Client is required to ensure the removal of such items before Stain Stoppers LLC technicians commence Cleaning Procedures. Stain Stoppers LLC and its technicians explicitly disclaim any responsibility for damages incurred to furniture, valuables, or breakables in the room during the entirety of the service. This precautionary measure ensures that Stain Stoppers LLC technicians can perform their duties safely and efficiently without risk to the Client's personal belongings. Stain Stoppers LLC and its technicians disclaim any responsibility for damage to furniture, valuables, or breakables in a room before, during, or after any service provided by Stain Stoppers LLC. The Client is solely responsible for ensuring the removal of such items before the arrival of Stain Stoppers LLC technicians. Stain Stoppers LLC technicians will clean or service only those carpets or upholstery that are easily accessible and can be attended to without the requirement for a technician from Stain Stoppers LLC to move any furniture or items.

• Stain Stoppers LLC reserves the right to disclaim responsibility for the following situations: Incomplete Cleaning Tasks resulting from insufficient water or power; the presence of third parties, including pets, on the Client's premises during or after the cleaning process, leading to re-soiling or damage; the heightened visibility of wear or discoloration in fabric or fibers after soil removal; the inability to eliminate old or permanent stains using standard carpet and upholstery cleaning methods; and the reactivation of odors from previous spills or stains.

• The Client shall avoid placing any furniture on recently cleaned wet carpets. Doing so may result in the transfer of wood stain and metal rust into the carpet fibers, causing irreversible damage. The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC will not be held liable for any such damage.

• The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC is not and will not be liable for various factors arising from the diverse blends of fibers, soiling, and environmental conditions that may be present. These include but are not limited to: aging or deterioration, migration of marks from the back of fabrics, instability of dyes, deterioration of foam cushions, challenges in restoring white fabrics, urine contamination, loss of finish or glaze, frayed piping or welting, broken zips, breakdown of fabric backing, shrinkage, difficulties in stain removal, browning, fading, water marking, yellowing, pre-existing wear and tear, as well as issues related to loose frames/legs, nicked wood trim, and loose or missing buttons. The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC cannot be held responsible for these specified circumstances.

• In ordinary situations, it is crucial for Clients to verify that all carpet edgings and seams are appropriately installed before the cleaning process. The Client bears the responsibility for ensuring the correct fitting. If any edgings or seams are found to be insecure, Stain Stoppers LLC disclaims any responsibility for potential issues such as loose fibers or yarns getting entangled in machinery and being pulled out due to the pre-existing insecure condition. Additionally, the Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC is not liable for any movement or parting of seams resulting from the deterioration of carpet backing, glues, or adhesive tapes.

• Shrinkage may occur in fibers or fabrics primarily composed of natural fibers when exposed to moisture resulting from accidents, maintenance spotting, or non-professional cleaning attempts. Stain Stoppers LLC is committed to preventing shrinkage problems by identifying fabrics and fibers susceptible to such issues. However, it is important to note that movement or shrinkage can also be a result of loose, poorly fitted, repaired, or replaced carpets, seams, or edgings. Therefore, the Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC cannot be held responsible for any movement or shrinkage arising from these pre-existing problems.

• Stain Stoppers LLC makes every effort to address and eliminate pet or human stains and odors. However, achieving a 100% success rate may not be guaranteed due to factors such as the duration and extent of contamination. It is important to acknowledge the unpredictable nature of cleaning pet or human accidents, and as a result, Stain Stoppers LLC does not guarantee a refund for services related to the removal of pet or human urine, fecal odor, or stains.

• Stain Stoppers LLC cannot ensure the complete removal of stains, as factors such as dye characteristics, pH effects, oxidation, and other reactions may impact the efficacy of our stain removal services. While some stains may show improvement, they may not be entirely eliminated. This is particularly true for stains that have become permanent, affecting the fibers or dyes of the Client's carpet and upholstery.

• Certain stains that may initially appear invisible can undergo a color change to brown following the cleaning process. These stains, attributed to substances like sugary liquids, urine, or other animal-related issues, have the potential to result in a permanent alteration of the carpet or upholstery fiber color. It is important to note that Stain Stoppers LLC disclaims responsibility for situations of this nature.

• Stain Stoppers LLC may apply Protective Agents in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. It is important to note that these agents are not designed to provide absolute protection; rather, their purpose is to assist in repelling moisture for a limited duration. There is no guarantee that they will prevent liquid penetration into fibers. The primary goal is to aid in stain prevention and enhance the ease of cleaning carpets and upholstery in the future. It is essential to recognize that all protectors will naturally wear out over time, diminishing in effectiveness. The Client should consider this when requesting such services. Stain Stoppers LLC explicitly disclaims any responsibility for the product's performance. In the event of complaints or issues directly related to the product, the Client is required to contact the manufacturer directly.

• The Client is required to inform the Stain Stoppers LLC technician about the specific fiber type of their upholstery and carpeting. While Stain Stoppers LLC technicians are adept at testing and identifying numerous fibers, the vast array of blends in the market renders it impossible to ascertain the fiber type with absolute certainty in every instance. The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the misidentification of fibers.

• Walking on a wet carpet and moving onto a hard surface can create a slip hazard. For safety, please keep children, pets, and others away from recently cleaned carpets until they are fully dry. The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC is not liable for any injuries associated with Stain Stoppers LLC services.

• Payment is required promptly upon the completion of a service, and can be made through various methods including check, cash, PayPal, or Venmo. In the event of a returned check, a minimum charge of $50 will be applied in addition to the original amount.

• The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss incurred by the Client's property or possessions at any stage, including but not limited to before, during, or after the provision of services.

• The Client hereby grants permission for Stain Stoppers LLC technicians to access their premises at any time, including before, during, and after the provision of any service by Stain Stoppers LLC, for the purpose of fulfilling the requested service. Before entering the Client's premises, Stain Stoppers LLC technicians will obtain the Client's permission, either in writing or verbally, to proceed with the requested service. Technicians will have the right to enter and exit the premises until the completion of the requested service. In the event that the Client cannot be contacted or fails to respond within one hour before the scheduled appointment, the technician reserves the right to cancel the appointment. In such cases, the Client may be subject to a late cancellation fee of $50, which may be waived at the discretion of Stain Stoppers LLC.

• Stain Stoppers LLC technicians may cancel a scheduled appointment, either before or during, if they determine that carrying out any service might jeopardize their health, property, or the property of Stain Stoppers LLC. The Client is accountable for ensuring the technician's workspace is safe and unobstructed. In such cases, the Client won't incur charges for services not provided. However, Stain Stoppers LLC reserves the right to impose a $50 cancellation fee at their discretion if the Client fails to adequately prepare the workspace before the technician's arrival.

• The Client agrees that Stain Stoppers LLC shall not be held liable for any business loss or other consequential events arising from the cancellation of any appointment.

• If the Client has a complaint, the Client must notify Stain Stoppers LLC within 48 hours of the completion of the cleaning service. Any claims made after this time frame will not be accepted.

• To avoid a late cancellation fee of $50, the Client is required to notify Stain Stoppers LLC of any cancellations at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Stain Stoppers LLC retains the discretion to waive this fee under certain circumstances.

• The Client agrees that any dispute arising out of this contract shall be heard in Ozaukee County, construed according to Wisconsin law.
